Since a very young age, Richard Ryan, owner of Blue Lotus Landscaping, was drawn to the beauty of the outdoors. Starting in Western NY, he would mow the lawn of a local garden and craft store. Quickly, he began learning more and more from the owners of the shop, and expanded his knowledge into more variations of landscaping. He learned the fundamentals of creating and sustaining beautiful flowers and edible plants, to shaping hedges into works of art. 

 

With the fundamentals fulfilled Richard decided to pursue his love for landscaping and pushed further throughout his life to gain more and more knowledge in his field. Over the following years he worked his way through the ranks of premium landscape companies from Western NY, to Cape Cod MA, to Southern CT.

 

Learning the skills in all facets of landscaping from hardscapes, to softscapes, to design; Richard finally realized his dream in 2008 when Blue Lotus Landscaping was born. With a deep dedication to providing only high quality service, Blue Lotus Landscaping has created a following of very loyal customers who understand the passion for the beauty of the outdoors.
